end of 1985 – beginning 1986

Band members: Richard Watts – Bass, Vocals,  James Watts – Drums, Peter Jamieson – Keyboards

Richard, Peter and James.

Formed by Richard Watts and his brother, James, at the end of 1985. Spader Non took their name from a comic strip in the Heavy Metal magazine. Their sound was a mixture of driving rhythms and swirling synth.

The band spent most of the beginning of 1986 song writing and developing their musical style. In March 1986 they went into a local studio and recorded two of their songs – Revelation and Hollowmen.

In August Richard left to join the Resurrectionists for their reunion concert.
